23- (1778) The Indians rebelled against Father Egurrola for his desire to move the town of the Apparition.

27- (1985) Coronation of the Wooden Image of the Virgin of Coromoto by St. John Paul II in Montalbán, Caracas.

31- (1952) The Hotel Betania was blessed in Guanare, with room for 400 pilgrims arriving to the city.

(1989) Jaime Lushinchi, president of Venezuela declared "Cultural Historical Heritage Site the Votive Temple of Our Lady of Coromoto".

FEBRUARY

2- Presentation of the Lord, Feast

(1654) The image of Our Lady of Coromoto is transferred from the house of Juan Sanchez to the Church of Guanare, today, Cathedral Basilica.

(1950) The governor of Portuguesa, Don Rafael Perez inaugurated a metal statue at the site of the Apparition.

3- (1936) A beautiful marble cross was inaugurated at the site of the Apparition, as an emblem of our Redemption.

10- (1996) Saint John Paul II inaugurated the National Shrine.

18- (1976) The Civil Association "Venezuela to the Virgin of Coromoto" is constituted in Caracas.

MARCH

9- (2009) Begins the process of restoration of the Original Relic of Our Lady of Coromoto, with the preparation of the place where it would be carried out.

11- (2009) Begins the process of intervention of the Relic to restore it.

15- (1951) The delivery of 9 projects was carried out in order to build a Sanctuary to the Virgin.

25- The Annunciation of the Lord, Solemnity.

31- (1954) The territory of Portuguesa is separated from the Diocese of Barquisimeto in order to create the Diocese of Guanare.

APRIL

7- (1948) The Sacred Congregation of Breves, delivered to Brother Nectario Maria the document by which the Holy See declared Our Lady of Coromoto "Patroness of Venezuela".

12- (1928) The 1st National Monument to Our Lady of Coromoto was inaugurated in Guanare.

19- (1944) The Quebrada de la Virgen Monument was inaugurated.

(1952) The first part of the Coromotana Tour begins.

MAY

1- (1942) Our Lady of Coromoto is declared Patroness of Venezuela by the National Episcopate.

3- (1922) Brother Nectario María publishes in the magazine "Excelsior" his first Marian investigations under the title "La Maravillosa Historia de Nuestra Señora de Coromoto" (The Wonderful History of Our Lady of Coromoto).

4- (1942) The Bishops announced to all the Venezuelan people the happy event of decreeing Our Lady of Coromoto Patroness of Venezuela.

7- (1995) Doctor Rafael Caldera invited Pope John Paul II to the inauguration of the National Shrine.

19- (1942) Monsignor Lucas Guillermo Castillo orders the celebration of the National Patronage of the Virgin of Coromoto on May 31 of that year in every church.

24- (1949) Pope Pius XII elevates to Minor Basilica the Church of Guanare, today Basilica-Cathedral.

31- (1942) The Venezuelan parishes celebrated the National Patronage of the Virgin of Coromoto.

JUNE

7- (1954) Pope Pius XII creates the Diocese of Guanare.

11- (movable) Sacred Heart of Jesus, Solemnity.

12- (movable) Immaculate Heart of Mary, Obligatory Memory.

14- (1952) The 1st part of the Coromotana Tour is fulfilled, the Relic arrives to Guanare.

26- (1977) The architect Erasmo Calvani presents to the public the beautiful model of the National Shrine.

JULY

24- (1954) The blessing of the Archbishop's Palace in Guanare takes place.

29- (1952) Pope Pius XII delegates Cardinal Manuel Arteaga y Betancourt to crown the Sacred Relic of Our Lady of Coromoto.

AUGUST

15- Assumption of the Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary into heaven, Solemnity.

26- (1698) Thanks to the unexpected departure of the Coromotos, Marcos Paredes de San Nicolas manages to relocate the site of the Apparition of September 8, 1652.

30- The novena in honor of the Virgin of Coromoto begins.

SEPTEMBER

1- (1976) The first stone of the National Sanctuary is placed.

7- (1976) Father Egurrola takes the copy image of the Virgin of Coromoto to the new town of Tucupido (1776).

(1934) Several children see Our Lady of Coromoto appear in the skies of Guanare.

29- (1987) Mr. Tiburzo Piero, came from Italy to restore the Sacred Relic and presented a report in December among other things, that it would be a risk since the image is glued to the glass and "that the black stain with the Baby Jesus, it is almost certain that it has turned to dust".

OCTOBER

3- Brother Nectario María, with enormous merits, died in Caracas, on October 3, 1986, when he was two years and twenty-five days short of his one hundredth birthday.

7- (1944) Pope Pius XII declares Our Lady of Coromoto "Celestial and Principal Patroness of the entire Republic of Venezuela".

20- (2007) The National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Coromoto was elevated by Pope Benedict XVI to the dignity of Minor Basilica.

21- (1951) The Collective Pastoral of the Venezuelan Episcopate, declares the next 1952 Jubilee Year Coromotano.

23- (1954) Bishop Pedro Pablo Tenreiro Francia is appointed Bishop of Guanare.

NOVEMBER

3- (1807) The reconstruction of the Church of Guanare, today Cathedral-Basilica, is finished.

(1971) Doctor Rafael Caldera inaugurated in Guanare the Plaza Nectario María.

(1978) The President of Venezuela, Mr. Carlos Andres Perez, gave the order of the Liberator Necklace to the original image of Our Lady of Coromoto (All the same date)

22- (1952) The second part of the Coromotana Tour ends. The Virgin returns to her throne in Guanare.

DECEMBER

8- Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Solemnity.

(1924) Brother Nectario Maria publishes the book "The Wonderful History of Our Lady of Coromoto of Guanare (Venezuela) and Portuguese origins".

11- (1928) Brother Nectario María proposed in the II National Marian Congress that the Virgin of Coromoto be recognized and proclaimed Patroness of Venezuela, for being the only true apparition of the Virgin in our country.

24- Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve.

25- Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Solemnity.

26- (1814) Doctor José Vicente Unda consecrated the Church of Guanare, today Basilica - Cathedral.
